03 / FIELD MANUAL
A daily Pokémon game.
A different climb each day.
A short session can still hold a good decision. The Daily Red Pokemon game gives you a familiar opponent and an unfamiliar set of answers. You do not need an account, a download, or a competitive team builder. Read the squad, pick a plan, and play.
- 01
Scout before you send.
Look through all six teammates. Check types, items, abilities, and coverage moves. Choose a lead that can handle Pikachu without sacrificing something you will need later.
- 02
Make the turn matter.
Attack or switch. A smart retreat can protect your only answer to Charizard or Snorlax. Watch HP, remaining PP, and status; a strong move is only useful if you survive to use it.
- 03
Log the expedition.
Finish your official attempt and copy your result grid. Green squares show your survivors; red squares mark defeated opponents. Win, lose, or draw, tomorrow brings a new route up the mountain.
TRAINER NOTES
Read the mountain.
Winning this daily Pokémon challenge takes more than pressing the strongest attack. Keep these matchups in your pocket.
- ↯
Respect the opening.
Ground types ignore Electric attacks, but Pikachu has other moves. Check the full set before treating a type immunity as a free turn.
- ◆
Save a Rock answer.
Charizard is weak to Rock twice over. A reliable Rock attack can be worth preserving even when a different teammate looks stronger now.
- ✚
Hit the right defense.
Snorlax has enormous HP and Special Defense. Physical Fighting attacks target a better opening. In Gen 3, a move’s type determines whether it uses Attack or Special Attack.
- ↔
Spend a switch wisely.
Switching uses your turn and exposes the incoming Pokémon. Trade that risk for an immunity, resistance, or a better matchup—not just a fresh HP bar.
04 / TERMINAL HELP
Before you climb.
The essentials for your next summit challenge.
What is the Daily Red Pokemon game?
It is a browser-based daily Pokémon battle. You receive six level 100 Pokémon and try to defeat Red’s fixed team with Generation 3 mechanics. Choose moves, switch teammates, and work with the squad you have rather than building a perfect team.
Is this a Pokemon Wordle game?
It shares the daily rhythm of Wordle: a fresh challenge, one official result, and a grid you can share. The difference is the challenge itself: you win a turn-based battle rather than guess a hidden name.
When does a new daily squad arrive?
The next team unlocks at midnight in your local time zone. The terminal countdown shows the wait. Trainers playing the same calendar date get the same squad in this version, so you can compare strategies with friends.
Can I practice before my official battle?
Yes. Practice uses today’s six with fresh battle randomness, and you can retry as often as you like. Practice never changes your official record. Your chosen lead carries into the next new battle.
Will I lose my battle if I close the page?
When local saving is enabled, your official battle saves on this device after each turn. Come back in the same browser and choose Resume battle. Clearing browser data removes that save and your statistics. Practice runs are temporary.
Is this an official Pokémon game?
No. This is a free, unofficial fan project. It is not published, sponsored, or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or The Pokémon Company. It uses the open-source Pokémon Showdown battle simulator.
